On the Characteristics of Normal Universities' Education Quality

The reform on higher education in 1990's,including merging and promoting of schools and expanding of recruiting,has set new requirements for the education quality.How to deal with the series of problems of education quality under the new circumstances has become an important content for higher educational institutions to establish scientific deveopmental concept in higher education and to maintain sustainable development.The foundation of education quality is for the teachers to pursue overall development of students,foster their new mentality and creative talent,endeavor to build new teaching characteristic and strengthen the training of comprehensive qualities.The key point of promoting education quality is the construction of the teaching staff,and the focus is to strengthen the supervision over the teaching process.It is essential to design complete evaluation system of education quality standard and new supervision system of education quality.More importantly the educational reform must embody respecting the students' rights.
