Nifedipine with amlodipine compared the effect of primary hypertension

Objective To evaluate the nifedipine GITS and amlodipine in the treatment of essential hypertension in terms of efficacy and safety comparison.Methods meet the conditions for outpatients with essential hypertension were randomly divided into 120 cases of nifedipine treatment group(60 patients) and amlodipine treatment group(60 cases),the 8 weeks of the course of treatment.Results during the first 4 weeks,nifedipine is more effective than amlodipine group,the difference was statistically significant,4 weeks after treatment ended was no significant difference between two groups.Conclusion The treatment of clinical work,if it is to quickly lower blood pressure,nifedipine can be used to maintain stable blood pressure can be used to reduce drug compliance and amlodipine.
