Analysis on the models and strategies of Guangdong textile industrial cluster upgrading

Abstract

How to follow Gereffic G′s model of industrial cluster upgrading was studied.The essential characteristics of gradully developing the textile industrial cluster upgrading of Guangdong were demonstrated,from process upgrading to product upgrading,then to functional upgrading and lastly to the whole industrial chain.It is put forward that this upgrading should be driven by technical innovation and stresses should be made on the planning,the construction and integration of infrastructures,the building of cluter′s regional brands,technical innovation and the construction of public service platform of the whole cluster,thus making a coordinated development and realizing the upgrading of the whole industrial chain.
