Abstract
Objective To discuss the clinical application and roles of C-ERBB2 gene expression in the diagnosis and therapy of breast cancer. Methods The samples from 20 health women,40 patients with benign breast tumor and 86 patients with breast cancer were detected by FQ-PCR. Meanwhile CA153,CA125,and CEA were detected by chemiluminescence method, and the results were analyzed comparatively. Results The sensitivity of C-ERBB2 to diagnose breast cancer was higher than that of CA153,CA125,and CEA.The four indexes were declined after operation and chemotherapy. Conclusion The detection of gene expression of C-ERBB2 has the potential to assess objectively the diagnosis, therapy, and prognosis of breast cancer.
