Abstract
The synthesis of n propyl acetate using TiSiW 12 O 40 /TiO 2 as catalyst has been studied.The factors influencing the synthesis were discussed and the best conditions were found out.The optimum condition is molar ratio of n propyl to acetic acid is 1.60∶1,the quantity of catalyst is equal to 1.0% feed stock,the reaction temperature is 90 ℃~92 ℃,and the reaction time is 1.5 h.TiSiW 12 O 40 /TiO 2 is an excellent catalyst for synthetizing n propyl acetate and its yield can reach over 94.58%.
