120 cases of Clinical Observational Studies of Shugan Tongru Decoction in Treatment of Acute Mastitis without abscess

Objective:To investigate the clinic efficacy of Shugantongru Decoction in treatment of Acute Mastitis without abscess.Methods:120 Patients were randomized into Shugantongru Decoction group and antibiotic group.Each group contained 60 patients.The patients administrated Shugantongru Decoction were enrolled into the treatment group,compared with the antibiotic group.The therapeutic efficacy,the treatment duration,the situation of Breast-feeding were compared between the two groups.Results:45 patients recovered in the treatment group.The total efficiency was 96.7%,higher than the controlled group 91.7%,with 40 patients recoverd(P0.05).There were 40 patients in Shugantongru Decoction group with treatment duration for 3~5 days,while 45 patients in controlled group.There were no significant difference between two groups(P0.05).5 patients in Shugantongru Decoction group halted Breast-feeding,while 18 patients in controlled group,with significant difference(P0.01).Conclusion:Compared to antibiotics,Shugantongru Decoction in treatment patients with acute mastitis without abscess has definite efficiency and unique advantages.
