On the Poetic Emotion and Meanings of the Chinese Version of a Poem

It is supposed to know that the poetic form is an indispensable part of a fine poet.However,the poetic emotion and meanings should be given priority over the poetic form in poetry translation.On the basis that there lie differences between Chinese and English and there exist the translating loss during the translating work,this paper illustrates the poetic meanings are more important to be revealed in translation than the poetic form by analyzing the Chinese version of Solitary Reaper from the perspective of the receptive aesthetics.
