Exploratory Development of Serum Sialic Acid as Marker of Malignant Tumor

Abstract

Objective To study the value of serum sialic acid in diagnose of malignant tumor.Methods Analyze the serum sialic acid of normal persons(n=150),the persons with innocent disease(n=150),the persons with malignant tumor(n=152).Results There was no evident difference between the normal group and the innocent group(P0.05).There was evident difference among the malignant group,normal group and innocent group(P0.01).Conclusion Serum sialic acid can be a better quantitation standard in diagnose of malignant tumor,it can be also use in tumor's census.
