Blending of Typeface and Meaning for Modern Chinese Character Logo Design

Abstract
It analyzed the practical base of Chinese characters with its semiotics characteristics blending into modem logo design,and the main features of the modern logo design.Combined with some excellent works of modern Chinese chanracter logo design,it illustrated three viewpoints of Chinese character logo design: firstly,the modeling techniques of Chinese character logo focused on typeface,secondly,the expression techniques of Chinese character logo representing the Chinese classical aesthetics thought and visual imago focused on meaning,and then the Chinese character logo design method with of typeface and meaning.Based on this,it put forward that the logo design should blend the typeface and meaning of Chinese characters,to provide reference for Chinese character logo design.
