Abstract
With the research on the coal transportation,top co al caving features and top coal caving technology for the complicated section of t he parting structure in the fully mechanized top coal caving mining face,the pa per hold that top coal caving under the complicated structure conditions does no t have a relation with the coal caving parameters,top coal and direct roof fall ing features,but the coal caving was influenced by the rock properties and thic kness of the partings.The paper proposed that the top coal caving method with tw o passing cutting and one caving would improve the coal recovery rate and reduce the ash content of the raw coal.
