The Scholarship of Teaching: Key to Improving University Teaching Quality

Abstract

Teaching quality is lifeblood of all work of school.To improve teaching quality is eternal theme of higher education.University teachers' teaching ability is critical factor affecting university teaching quality.However,the cultivation of teacher's teaching ability has always been neglected.In order to change such situation,it's very necessary to introduce mechanism of the scholarship of teaching,which is beneficial to development of university teachers' teaching ability.In so doing we can continuously improve teaching quality of higher education.
