An Empirical Study of Current Teaching Situation and Development in Teaching & Research Universities

An investigation of the teaching situation in terms of teaching perception,teaching practice and teaching development shows that the major factors affecting teaching ability are attitude toward teaching,teaching knowledge and teaching effects.In order to promote teaching development in the teaching research university,a scientific system of teaching development should be established by taking different teachers into account,teaching process should be elaborately designed,and policies should act as guidelines to further improve the teacher-evaluating system,the professional-title-determining system and the classroom-teaching-evaluating system,thus creating a good teaching culture.
