Abstract

Based on statistical analysis of currently used lining structures and internal forces of shield tunnels in domestic single-track metro sections, this paper applies the 3D FEM with the face to face contact element and gasket element, to study the effects of different axis forces, moments, eccentric moments, bolt pre-tension forces, segment dimensions, gasket thicknesses and bolt locations on the joint rotary angles and joint bending stiffness of the longitudinal segment joints. Variation laws of joint rotary angles and joint bending stiffness under the of single influence factors are discussed with the relation curves of -M, the interaction laws under the combined action of all influence factors are revealed with the 3D curves.
