Abstract
The theory,method,necessity and cause about continuous box girder vertical de-formation of long span continuous rigid structure bridge are introduced in this paper.The the-ory and method are tested combining with the west sea-route of XiaMen HaiCang bridge and some conclusion can be drawn.The joining precision of the bridge shows that this theory and method have some reference value about vertical deformation monitoring to other same kind of bridge construction.
