Methods in Continuation of Ming and Qing Novels

Continuation of an existent novel was common in the history of literature and Ming and Qing novels were continued by five methods,i.e.consequent continuation, mid-way continuation,reincarnation continuation,descendant continuation,and character continuation.This classification of methods is useful for further research in the tendencies and features of novel continuation.
