Abstract
It mainly consists of three sections to complete studies on a literature school: the type, the leading writers and style. The school-division of chapter-novels in Ming and Qing Dynasties has now developed its own discipline consciousness since its first appearance in The Brief History of Chinese Fiction by Luxun. Deeper research on chapter-novels in Ming and Qing, and more questions with Luxun's conclusion. That is why we should examine again the existing state of chapter-novels in Ming and Qing.
