Abstract
The Ming and Qing real learning is a main wave of thought existing for over 3,00 years from the middle Ming to the middle Qing, with characteristics of worshipping the real learning and ridding the emptiness. It is a powerful force promoting philosophy, history, science, literature, fine arts, textual research and others in this period. The Ming and Qing novels, associated with the then society, make a basic transition of aesthetic and writing styles of Chinese novels. The real learning in the Ming and Qing dynasties has made great contributions to Chinese literature.
