Effect Observation of Combining Ondansetroned with Diazepam to Treat Nausea and Vomiting Caused by Chemotherapy

Objective To explore a effect and safe therapy plan that can decrease nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy.Methods 88 patients with breast cancer(postoperation) and lung cancer(received chemotherapy) were divided randomly into observation group and control group.Patients in observation group used ondansetron and diazepam,and those in control group used metoclopramide and dexamethasone.The effect of two groups were observed.Results The effective rate of observation group was 86.96% and 64.29% of control group.The difference was significant(P0.05).Conclusions In patients with carcinoma,odansetron combined with diazepam can prevent effectively nausea and vomiting caused by chemotherapy and it may play effective role in clinical practise.
