Abstract

Objective:To study the clinical effect of Aoxikang Injection on the prevention of nausea and vomiting induced by supportive chemotherapy after operation of esophageal carcinoma. Methods: Ninety patients under cisplatin-based chemotherapy were randomly divided into the control group(46cases) and the treatment group(44cases),which were treated respectively with Ondansetron and Aoxikang Injection combined with Ondansetron to control nausea and vomiting induced by supportive chemotherapy. Results: There were significant differences between the two groups. The complete response rate and the total effective rate in the treatment group were all higher than these in the control group(P0.05).The average frequency of vomiting in the treatment group was also lower than that in the control group(P0.05).Conclusion: Aoxikang Injection combined with Ondansetron can prominently decrease the incidence of nausea and vomiting induced by supportive chemotherapy.
