Abstract
Objective To establish the qualitative and quantitative analysis methods for anthocyanins in the flowers of Rosa rugosa Thunb. Methods Cyanidin-3,5-diglucoside was detected by silica gel TLC with n-butanol-acetic acid -water(4:1:2)as the developing agent and 1%aluminium trichloride alcoholic solution as the visualization reagent. The content of total anthocyanins was determined by dual-wavelength pH-differential method. Results Cyanidin-3,5-diglucoside could be clearly detected by silica gel TLC.The RSD of result was 2.5%(n=6)by dual-wavelength pH-differential method. Conclusion The qualitative and quantitative analysis methods for anthocyanins in the flowers of Rosa rugosa Thunb.established in this article can be used for the quality control of Rosa rugosa Thunb.
