Abstract
Objective To observe the acute toxicity test of Tougu Xiaotong capsule. Methods Mice were divided into experiment group and control group. The experiment group was treated with different concentration of Tougu Xiaotong capsule suspension once in a time, and the control group was given normal saline at the same dose. The toxic reactions of mice were observed and recorded successively, the serum were collected in the 7th day and the 14th day for biochemical analysis, and the pathology of organs were detected. Results The tolerance dose of mice after intragastric administration was 366 times that of clinical dose. Conclusion Tougu Xiaotong capsule has no obviously acute toxicity, and it is safe in clinical use.
