The Effect Analysis of Somatostatin in the Medical Treatment of Intestinal Obstruction

Objective To investigate the effect of somatostatin in the medical treatment of intestinal obstruction. Methods Sixty patients with intestinal obstruction were divided into objective group and control group. The conventional medical treatment plan was used in the control group and somatostatin was additionally used in the objective group. The cure rate, clinical treatment effect and health economic indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The cure rate, clinical treatment effect of the objective group were higher than those of the control group, and the length and cost of hospital stay of the objective group were less than the ones of the control group. Conclusions It can get a satisfaction effect to use somatostatin in the medical treatment of intestinal obstruction, with higher cure rate, better treatment effect, and lighter economic burden.
