A REFLECTION ON NATURAL GAS EXPLOITATION AND UTILIZATION IN SICHUAN

Abstract

In recent years,Sinopec and CNPC both have strengthened their oil and natural gas exploration work in Sichuan basin.With the discovery of Puguang and Luojiazhai Gas Fields,natural gas reserves in Sichuan has increased manifold.Every region in Sichuan except Ganzi,Aba and Liangshan has natural gas fields of various reserves.These gas fields are of significance in breaking energy bottlenecks in economic and social development,providing a resource advantage for Sichuan's leap-forward development,which will be realized by turning the resource advantage into economic and development advantages.The author presents his strategic suggestions about natural gas resources exploitation policies in 7 facets.
