Abstract
Forty primers that generate polymorphic loci according to amplify pig genomes are used in random (amplified ) (polymorphism) DNA (RAPD) analysis of twelve small Xiang goat's DNA samples, and twenty-one of them (generate) (polymorphic) loci. The genetic similarity indexes among the population of small Xiang goats are calculated by Nei, and the (average) is 0.9592±0.0082. The result indicates that the breed's genetic structure of small Xiang goat is simple, and its genetic (diversity) is very low.
