Clinical observation of esomeprazole combined with mosapride in treatment of patients with reflux esophagitis

Objective To study the curative effect of esomeprazole combined with mosapride on reflux esophagitis(RE).Methods Eighty-six cases of reflux esophagitis in our hospital from 2008 to 2010 were randomly divided into treatment group(43 cases) and control group(43 cases),treatment group received esomeprazole and mosapride,and control group received omeprazole and domperidone.The improvement rate of clinical symptoms and effective rate under endoscopy were evaluated after four weeks.Results The effective rate of clinical symptoms and effective rate under endoscopy were 93.02%,90.70% in treatment group and 72.09%,69.77% in control group respectively for four weeks.There were significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Esomeprazole combined with mosapride has a good effect on treating reflux esophagitis,and is worth for clinical use.
