Abstract

Patron God Worship,a unique folk belief of Bai Ethnic Minority in Dali,Yunnan Province,is a typical Local Knowledge.During the long history of its birth,development and change,to some extent,it has been exerting an educational function on realizing ethnic identity,inheritance of folk culture,social members' cultivation,environment adaptability of human being,etc..Analyzing the identity of Worship of Patron God(Local Knowledge) and the non-institutional Educational Function,and studying the Anthropologic Field Research material,the morality and behavior criterion education of Patron God Worship are elaborated.
