Imaging dragnosis of the renal angiomyolipoma(a report of 23 cases)

Abstract

Objective To improve the level of preoperative diagnosis for angiomyolipoma(AML).Methods From June 1989 to December 2003,23 patients with AML were analysed by diagnostie imagtology.Results Seventeen cases could be seen by CT(85%),16 cases by B ultrasonography(80%),9 cases by MRI(83%),6 cases by IVP(0%).Conclusion IVP have no significance to diagnose AML,but MRI,CT and B ultrasonography have much significance.
