Abstract
Objective:To observe the effect of Shen Du Ning Agent on the transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1) and connective tissue growth factor(CTGF) in rats with 5/6 nephrectomized.Methods:Use mascul SD rat,nephrectomizeing 5/6 kideny of rat to made CRF animal models using Platt method,and dividing into five groups:Shen Du Ning Agent for treatment group,Niao Du Qing Agent and CRF models for contrast group,the rats with no-nephrectomy for normal group.Eight weeks later,sacrifice all rats and determine Scr、BUN、Hb、RBC in blood serum;TGF-β1 and CTGF of nephridial tissue were observed using Real-time PCR.Results:The Scr、BUN of Shen Du Ning group are obviously lower then CRF models group,and the Hb、RBC of Shen Du Ning group are obviously higher then CRF models group(P0.01),Shen Du Ning Agent had significantly inhibited the expression of TGF-β1 and CTGF in nephridial tissue(P0.05 and P0.01),the effect of Niao Du Qing Agent is secondary.The two groups have no statistical difference.Conclusion:Shen Du Ning Agent retards the aggravation of renal function and improve renal fibrosis through suppressing TGF-β1 and CTGF expression and depressing the level of serum creatinine(Scr) and blood urea nitrogen(BUN).
