Pathogenic Investigation on a Food Poisoning Induced by Vibrio Parahaemolyticus

[Objective]To find out the causes of food poisoning,so as to prevent the recurrence of food poisoning.[Methods]Field epidemiological investigation and laboratory testing were conducted on a group dinner food poisoning,and analysis was made on the causes of food poisoning.[Results]23 people were affected by the food poisoning,the attack rates was 17.16%,all 23 patients ate fried shrimps,Vibrio parahaemolyticus was cultured in laboratory samples of stool in 9 patients and 1 of 10 samples of shrimps.[Conclusion]This is a Vibrio parahaemolyticus food poisoning due to improper processing of frozen seafood shrimps.
