Efficacy of edaravone combined with clopidogrel bisulfate among patients with acute cerebral infarction and its effect on neurological function

Objective To observe efficacy of edaravone combined clopidogrel bisulfate among patients with acute cerebral infarction and its effect on neurological function. Methods Sixty eight patients with acute cerebral infarction were randomly divided into two groups( n = 34,each). All the patients were given routine and individualized treatment. Patients in the control group were given clopidogrel hydrogen sulfate tablets,while those in the observation group were treated additionally with edaravone intravenous infusion.Fourteen days after treatment,clinical efficacy and adverse reactions between two groups were compared. Meanwhile,the patients' neurological deficit scores were evaluated. Results Total effective rate in the observation group was 88. 2%,higher than 58. 8% of the control group( P 0. 01). The scores of both groups were decreased after treatment,but the scores in the observation were lower than those in the control group( P 0. 01). No serious adverse reactions occurred in both groups during the treatment. Conclusion Edaravone sulfate combined with clopidogrel can effectively improve the neurological function of patients with acute cerebral infarction and increase the clinical efficacy,so it can be used widely in clinical treatment.
