Abstract
Objective To explore the effect of selective hepatic artery embolization of hepatic hemangioma. Methods 35 cases of patients accepted selective hepatic arterial embolization with Pingyangmycin lipiodol emulsion. The change of the hemangioma and the improvement of clinical symptoms was observed. Results 35 cases of hepatic hemangioma patients implemented embolization successfully. Follow- up of 3 months to 2 years, different degrees of reduced increased with time after lesions, which show a progressive narrowing. After 3 to 6 months,6 months to 1 year,1 year to 2years average narrowed lesions was 55. 4%,78. 2%,81%. Clinical symptoms got better or disappear after treatment. Conclusion The selective hepatic artery embolization is a safe, effective, minimally invasive method for the treatment of hepatic hemangioma, which has a few complications.
