Clinical observation on 80 cases of vertigo and tinnitus treated by Rougan dingxuan zhiming decoction

Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Rougan dingxuan zhiming decoction on vertigo and tinnitus patients.Methods 160 cases of vertigo and tinnitus were randomly divided into two groups,Rougan dingxuan zhiming decoction were given to the treatment group(n=80),and Merislon、Oryzanolum、Sibelium were given to the control group(n=80).The therapeutic course was four weeks in both groups.Then the therapeutic effect of two groups was observed.Results The total effective rate in treatment group(92.5%) was higher than that in control group(32.5%,P0.05).Improvement of symptoms caused from primary disease in treatment group were superior to those in the control group.Conclusion The Rougan dingxuan zhiming decoction has better effect in treatment of vertigo and tinnitus,it also can cure symptoms of primary disease.
