The research into the evolution of the theory about the history of the overseas Chinese

Since early 20th century, people have proposed a series of theories on history of overseas Before WWⅡ ,the influential ones included: the theory on colonization of overseas Chinese, the theory about mother of Chinese revolution, etc. Their characteristics are that they consider history of overseas Chinese as a part of history of China. After WWⅡ influential ones included: the theory on overseas social class, the theory on same national origin, theory on assimilation of overseas Chinese. These theories began to pay attention to relationship between overseas Chinese and other nations. The research theories on history of overseas Chinese develop with passage of time.
