Abstract
Objective To detect dynamically and analyze the distribution and drug resistance of pathogenic bacterium isolated from blood culture samples so as to provide evidence for the clinical therapy of infections.Methods The clinical data of distribution and drug sensitivity of common pathogenic bacterium in blood culture samples during January 2007 and December 2011 in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed.Results A total of 8223 blood culture samples were inspected in 5 years in our hospital.765(9.30%) samples of positive blood culture;659 pathogenic bacterium were isolated,of which gram-positive cocci were 422 strains(64.04%),209 strains of gram-negative bacilli(31.71%);5 strains of gram-positive bacilli(0.76%) and 23 strains of fungi(3.49%).The prevalence of methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus was 66.38% in S.aureus and 64.23% in coagulase-negative Staphylococcus.About 64.21% of Escherichia coli and 55.26% of klebsiella pneumoniae isolates were ESBLs-producing strains.Gram-positive bacteria was more sensitive to Vancomycin and Nitrofurantoin,and gram-negative bacteria was more sensitive to Imipenem,Meropenem and Cefoperazone sodium/Sulbactam.Conclusion The pathogens causing bloodstream infection widely distribute,and have different drug resistance.Surveillance of pathogenic bacterium from blood culture should be strengthened in order to provide scientific reference for reasonably using of antimicrobial agents.
