Abstract
In this paper,the modal characteristic of motorcycle frame was analyzed by the Finite Element Method(FEM) and tested by Experimental Modal Analysis(EMA) with LMS device respectively.The experiment results proved the correctness of finite modal.Then,it obtained the frame's former fourteen natural frequencies and correspond mode shapes,so that the resonance and noise would be avoided during the design of the motorcycle frame.It can strengthen the stability and ridding comfort,and also supply foundation for theory for improving design of the frame.
