The clinical observation of propofol combined with sufentanil on anesthesia for artificial abortion

Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of propofol combined with low dose sufentanil or ketamine on anesthesia for induced abortion. Methods 150 ASAⅠ~Ⅱpatients of early pregnancy with voluntarily induced abortion were randomized into control group and observation group(75 cases each group).Ketamine 0.5mg/kg combined with propofol in control group while sufentanil 0.1ug/kg combined with propofol was administered in observation group.The change of heat rate,blood pressure,breath rate and oxygen saturation were recorded during operation.Other outcome including intraoperative and postoperative analgesia effect,the total dose of propofol,operation duration,the time for emergence and leaving hospital,and adverse events,were observed.Results The intraoperative and postoperative analgesia effects in observation group were better than that in control group(P0.05).In addition,both the time for emergence and leaving hospital in observation group were shorter than that in control group(P0.05).Conclusions Propofol combined with sufentanil on induced abortion is satisfactied with the anesthetic effect,reducing the dose of propofol,intraoperative cyclostationarity,the rapid recovery after anesthesia,can be safely used for gynecological clinic abortion.
