Determination of content of josamycin in josamycin tablets by HPLC

Abstract

Objective To established a high performance liquid chromatography for determination of josamycin.Methods Standard article of josamycin was used as control and the content of josamycin was determined with HPL on a column of CAPCELL PAK C8;TYPE:DD 5μ and a size of 4.6mm.I.D.×150mm;the ultraviolet detection was 210nm;equilibrated with an eluent mixture and ammonium acete methand-acetonitrle Results The linear range was 10～80μg,r=0.99995 and the recovery was 97.24%,the RSD was 1.22%.Conclusion The method is special,accurate,simple,reproducible for determination of josamycin in the Josamycin tablets.
