Abstract
Flood routing from Luoshan to Hankou of the main stem of the Yangtze River and in Honghu flood diversion area are simulated by 1-D and 2-D flood routing model,and the effect of flood diversion by Honghu diversion zone to water level lowering of the Yangtze River is analyzed.The analysis result show that the operation of Honghu flood diversion zone can effectively reduce the water level of the Yangtze River and mitigates the flood control pressure of the river.The computational result can provide scientific operational base of Honghu flood diversion area and flood regulation of the Yangtze River.
