Abstract

ZHANG Tai-yan was the jump-off place of the contemporary academic study.His Qiushu was almost a Concise Chinese academic history.He kept Qian-jia school's practical and realistic tradition,also attended to reality.He criticized society by studying Chinese academic history,which showed that he had strong care for reality.It was helpful to our understanding Chinese academic history by re-studying Qiushu.
