Abstract
Objective To investigate the correlation between the levels of IL-6,TNF-α and IL-10 in serum and airway inflammation of patients with bronchial asthma.Methods 100 patients with bronchial asthma and 50 healthy people were randomly selected in this study.The ELISA was used to detect and compare the levels of the IL-6,TNF-α and IL-10 in serum in all patients before and after the treatment.The logistic regression model was used to analyze the correlation between the levels of the IL-6,TNF-α and IL-10 and airway inflammation.Results The levels of IL-6 and TNF-α were the highest in the BA patients at acute exacerbation,followed by the BA patients at chronic persistent period and the healthy controls(P 0.05),while the level of IL-10 was significantly lowest in the BA patients at acute exacerbation(P 0.05).Conclusion There is a close correlation between the levels of IL-6,TNF-α and IL-10 and the severity of the bronchial asthma.The three kinds of cytokines may be involved in asthma inflammatory reaction.
