Abstract

Chinese private schools has a long history while has not developed smoothly. In the ancient times, civil schooling was either under an unimportant position or integrated into the system of the governmental schooling in the end. It, by itself, hadn't formed an independent system. The innovation commenced in the late Qing Dynasty contributed to the formation of the new educational system, therefore private schools went their new ways, too. However, before liberation, disasters caused by hu-manbeing or nature prevented private schools from developing. After liberation, it has been a long time since private education had opportunities to develop. Since the Renovation and Opening, private education has gained a booming development and becomes a new and indispensable power in the educational industry.
