Abstract
As the changes of society in modern China,the old-style private schools in China also experience the same reformation and transition.The old-style private schools were forced to be reformed by the government in the westernization movement of the Qing dynasty.This kind of the reformation gradually becomes the constructive and independent transformation in the republic of China.In the process of the transition the old-style private schools complete its magnificent change.The new-style education gradually replaced the position of the private schools and become the main stream of society.
