Discussion on performance evaluation of teachers in colleges and universities

The mission of higher education is to train specialized and qualified talents for every field,the quality of whom are closely related to the level of teaching contingent as well as the degree of their enthusiasm.Hence,in this paper we focus on problems that should be concerned during the performance evaluation of teachers in colleges and universities,aiming to provide a solution to evaluate teachers' performance in a way more scientific,more comprehensive and impersonal,and then design an index system according with teachers' performance evaluation in China.
