Abstract
This paper is to research the servo control unit of the machining centers.A servo motion controller based on AT89C51+DSP is used in order to be more efficient and accurate.The result of an experiment on the CNC2000i system indicates that the system can realize the wide range of speed regulation,high speed control,good dynamic and static characteristics.
