Abstract
Objective To study the constituents of the leaves of Callicarpa nudiflora Hook.et Arn.Methods Compounds were isolated by column chromatography on silica gel,and their structures were identified by spectral methods and physicochemical data. Results Six phenolic acids were isolated and identified as vanillic acid(1),4-hydroxycinnamic acid(2),caffeic acid(3),ferulic acid(4),protocatechuic acid(5),protocatechuic aldehyde(6).Conclusions Compounds 26 are isolated from Callicarpa genus for the first time. All of these compounds are isolated from this plant for the first time.
