Effect of gamma globulin on idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura

Abstract

Objective:To observe effect of gamma globulin on idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura.Methods:Randomly divided patients with idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura into two groups:observation group and control group with 15 cases per group.Treated control group with vitamin C and hormone at high dosage,while treated observation group with intravenous injection of gamma globulin at 1 g/(kg·d)for 5 days besides anti-infection treatment.The course of hormone was 4～6 weeks.Results:Total efficiency of observation group was 93.3%,and 73.3% in control group,with significant difference(P0.05).There was significant difference in the time when platelet become normal and hemostasis time(P0.01).Conclusion:Intravenous injection of gamma globulin has satisfactory effect on idiopathic thrombocytopenic purpura.
