Abstract
Objective:To have a better understanding of the predominant strains of Shigella causing dysentery and their sensitivity to different drugs in Shenyang. So as to provide suggestion for shigellosis prevention and rational prescriptions. Methods: Detection according to theNation Project for Surveillance on Bacterial Dysentery was made. Results:During the 2004-2009 detect Shigellae infection,87 strains of Shigella infection was divided two groups, group B46 strains(52.87%),group D 41 strains(47.13%).Sh.Flexneri 1a and 2a were 65.22%.Drug sensitivity tests realed that Shigella were sensitive to ciprofloxacin(95.40%),cefotaxime(87.26%),gentamicin(69.00%) and l were resistant to ampicillin(90.80%),nalidixic acid(94.55%),tetracycline(96.55%),rifampicin(94.55%),compound Liguorice(89.65%).Conclusion: The prevailing pathogenic bacteria of bacterial dysentery were Sh.Flexneri and Sh.Sonne in Shenyang from 2004 to 2009,Sh.Sonne were ascendant trend, all of them showed resistant to commonly used antibiotics.
