The Transformation of “Big Literary Theory”: A Survey of the Development Trend of Contemporary Literary Theory since the 1990s

Since the 1990s,the knowledge about the contemporary literary theory has undergone the enormous adjustments.Great changes happen to the research object,the identity recognition of researcher and the value orientation of research and so on,moving towards the transformation of big literary theoryand displaying a few differences from the previous literary theories.The research objects of the big literary theoryare not confined to the literary activities,but involve all the cultural activities,especially the popular ones as well as the theory itself for the reflective study.All these demonstrate the conscious awareness of Literary Theory,which is an essential theoretical problem worth the attention among the literary theorists.
