Abstract
Text theory is a unique literary concept that appeared in the West in the 20h century. Since the 20th century, literary theory has begun to attach importance to the work itself and the existence of the reader after having explored the author and the world. Text theory, focused on the work and the tendency of meaning generation, is consistent with the shift of focus of literary theory. The new viewpoints in text theory have some illuminations on the change of literary concepts, the development of literary theory itself, literary practice, teaching, research and construction of literary theory.
