Abstract

Based on the clinical research practice and combined with relevant research results, from the aspect of that the deficiency of vital qi oriented and turbid phlegm and blood stasis is the main factor in disease deterioration, this paper regards that the accumulation of pathogen and damage due to deficiency of vital qi is the main pathogenesis of COPD.The deficiency of vital qi refers to the deficiency of the lung, the spleen and the kidney.beginning with lung deficiency,is based on kidney deficiency and qi deficiency,it also affects Yin-Yang at times. The accumulation of pathogen and damage is caused when the phlegm and blood stasis cause a dyspeptic disease.Consequently,a loss of vital qi occurs, which results in chronic and stubborn diseases. This paper provides the theoretical basis for the main therapeutic strategy of the application of strengthening vital qi and dispelling stasis(Eliminating Phlegm and Promoting Blood Circulation) to clinical application.
